About Kevin Fortier
I am a passionate amateur photographer. I started as a young teen with a little Brownie camera and then "modernized" to 110 and 126 film. I found that taking pictures of events and people in my life offered a tremendous way to remember them and, more importantly, to share those memories. As I immortalized images from my many years on film, and then digitally, I found myself looking at the world as though through a lens. I wanted people to see the beauty in God's creation that I saw...as I saw it. Looking for the best vantage point, trying to play different themes off of one another, making minor adjustments to perspective, and changing the look and feel of the the images that resulted, made photography a pleasurable hobby. While others around me were experiencing big events and "wow" moments, I wanted to save them so we could savor them always. I do not think of myself as a great photographer...I just love all that God has put here for us and I want to share the view.
